The Inspector General offices are available to render assistance, report in justices and review conditions detrimental to the efficiency and reputation of the Army. Anyone associated with the military and/or private citizen has right to present a complaint or request assistance. No appointment is necessary. Soldiers must receive permission to be away from the unit, however, they do not need to submit to an interview before they see the IG. Complaints may be presented orally or in writing at any of the above locations. Services are available to active duty, retired personnel, civilian employees and family members.
