The Retirement Services Office Provides support for retiring and retired Army personnel in the four-state area of Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon. Periodic pre-retirement orientations are conducted for prospective retirees and retiring personnel, including their family members.

Provides information, advice and assistance on matters pertaining to retired personnel through periodic publications as changes occur of additional information becomes available.

The RSO administers the Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) including counseling, orientations, computation of cost of monthly premium and completion of DD Form 2656, as well as providing support to the Fort Lewis Retiree Council. The Services at RSO are Available to active duty, retired personnel and family members.
